엠프, 스피커와 마이크, 각종이펙터부로 크게 나뉘며
엠플리튜브와 다르게 스피커 캐비넷과 마이크 부분만을 사용할 수 있음
MP1이나 JMP1이 있다면 기타릭의 스피커 케비넷 부분만을 사용하는 것을 추천
렉방식으로 원하는 부분만을 쏙 빼와서 간단히 사용 가능
개인적으로 앰프의 모델링은 엠플리튜브가 좀 더 우수한 것 같으나
프리엠프 사용자에겐 스피커 캐비넷과 마이크 수음기능만 사용할 수 있는 것이 매력
캐비넷, 마이크 가짓수도 더 많음
단 엠프리튜브도 버전2로 올라가면서 다양한 스피커와 마이크 추가

One-Stop-Solution GUITAR RIG is a complete solution for the modern guitarist – on the stage, in the rehearsal space, at home, and in the studio. GUITAR RIG combines highly advanced software and a sturdy hardware foot controller: “Rig Kontrol”. The GUITAR RIG software offers first-class emulations of classic and modern amplifiers, cabinets, microphones, and effects, letting guitarists easily create any guitar set-up imaginable. The outstanding sound quality, extensive features, and wide ranging flexibility set GUITAR RIG apart. The newly developed foot controller "Rig Kontrol" offers a functional design and sturdy construction. Rig Kontrol allows direct control over any parameters the user assigns to it. At the same time it serves as a D.I. box for connecting the guitar to the computer soundcard.
A separate MIDI interface is not necessary, since the control data for the foot controller are communicated via the line-in connection. Guitar Rig can also be controlled with other MIDI foot controllers.
Rigging up the GUITAR RIG: The guitar is connected to via a standard guitar cable to the line input on the Rig Kontrol foot controller. The two standard line outs on the Rig Kontrol connect to the line ins of your audio interface (soundcard) via standard guitar cables as well. There's no USB, MIDI, or FireWire connection necessary!Endless possibilities

range of components (enlarge...)GUITAR RIG integrates four tube amplifier emulations, which were developed through detail-exact analysis of popular models. In addition there are more than 20 outstanding sounding effects, including emulations of well-known vintage pedals and modern effects like delay, reverb, and EQs. GUITAR RIG also includes an extensive "Cabinets and Mics" module with 14 speaker types, and five microphone types, each with four different positions. Up to eight speaker and mic combinations are possible simultaneously!
GUITAR RIG’s modular structure makes it possible to combine any amplifier or effect in any order or quantity you desire. A special split module allows parallel signal processing with different amplifiers, cabinets and effects.
